Bibliographies and publicity, 1979-1980 [state publication].

This series contains publications related to energy conservation and methods of obtaining publicity for programs promoting energy conservation. Included in Alabama/Energy and the Way We Live are a bibliography of free and inexpensive printed materials, a bibliography of books related to energy selected from the collection of the Library Service, and "How to Attract a Crowd: A Publicity Manual." The project was partially funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Library Services and Construction Act in association with the American Library Association and the Committee for the Humanities in Ala. Jeanetta Keller and Lolly Argo of the Environmental and Energy Education Center of the University of Montevallo compiled the bibliography of free and inexpensive materials, and Philip Shirley of the Committee prepared the publicity manual. The series documents the Center's function of promoting public understanding of humanistic issues. The Center was sponsored cooperatively by the Library Service and the Committee for the Humanities.
